~Raised in the same house until I became an adult.

~Married my long time crush at age 20 and moved to Zion (Utah, May 30, 1997)

~Moved back to my California roots and into the same ol' Poindexter house I called home for so many years , 7 months pregnant, jobless, insuranceless, but happy. (April, 1999)

~Birthed my first born 8 days early and one month after the Mr. landed a job with awesome insurance that accepted my "pre-existing condition". (June 10, 1999)

~Moved out and birthed child #2. Gave her a name as unique as her older sister's. (May 24, 2002)

~Parent's divorced and papa bear thought it would be best to move back into my childhood home before we welcomed baby #3. Told us we needed the extra space...and we did. (November 2004)

~Birthed the cutest little boy around...six days before Christmas. Water broke while ordering food at Del Taco. (December 19, 2004)

~As if three kids weren't enough, we decided to add to the decible level in our home. Baby number 4 came eight days late and into an entire different year than her due date with a hairdo that would make any samarai jealous. (January 2, 2008)

~Bought our first home and the home/yard improvement began...it still continues.(April 2010)

~In between all the above, I somehow found/find the time to photograph, help kids with homework, work in classrooms, take kids to soccer, volleyball, and gymnastics. I occasionally cook a good meal, but McDonalds wrappers are a normal site around here. Cleaning happens usually when the house REALLY needs it and laundry is pretty much the same. I love scrapbooking and hope that one day I will have time to start it up again. I blog because I want my posterity to know of me and my family...it's also fun to go back and read. I love the smell of scented candles especially when they make my house smell good. I don't like mint toothpaste but will use it anyway. I love to eat...it makes me happy, relieved, calm, and fat (that I don't like!) I don't like crowds, being late, whiny kids, leaving the house without my phone, messy bedrooms, unfinished projects, and dust everywhere. I love my husband, kids, family, friends, technology, my home, Jesus Christ, the gospel, my car, money, vacationing in Mexico, and my life...My life, it's an awesome one!
