Never mind the drunk guy that thought he owned the section we were sitting in and wanted to start a fight with a 50 year old woman...Never mind the couple a few rows in front of us that should have purchased a hotel room instead of concert tickets... Never mind that it was 104 degrees at the Sleeptrain Amphitheatre until the sun went down... Never mind it cost $24 for 2 waters and two sandwiches...and Never mind the 45 minute wait to get out of the parking lot even driving aggressively after the show...COLDPLAY WAS SOOOOOOO AWESOME!
Coldplay puts on the raddest show! A few different times, the band moved off the stage and played in different parts of the crowd. While traveling to one of these places, the band walked right next to me...literally. I could reach my hand out and touch them. Unfortunately, I was trying to get a video of it on my phone and didn't get the chance to touch those sweaty British singers. If you watch the following video closely, you'll see the lead singer, Chris (You know, the one whose married to Gweneth Paltrow), walk by in a blue shirt super fast:
I didn't bring my camera....GRRRRRRRR.... so I took pictures of the famous dude that is on every morning show around here with my cell phone, he walked by me too:
A nice treat at the end, was a free Live CD of Coldplay and sporting on the cover was 2 butterfly's (one on each side)...the same butterfly's that were blown all over the stadium as confetti during one of their songs!
Guess I got some pretty good seats considering they were "in the middle". I mean, all the sights I got in my seat were amazing (except the drunk guy making out with his girlfriend and the other couple who couldn't keep their hands off each other)!
Here's to hoping that the Killers, Blink 182, and Weezer puts on a show as good as Coldplay...Two more concerts, here we come! I'm soooo excited!!!!
